How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal uses laser pulses to selectively destroy hair by targeting the melanin (color) in the follicle. The pigment in the hair follicle absorbs the laser’s light pulse, which damages the follicle enough to significantly slow or stop hair regrowth.
Treatments Needed: 6-12 treatments are typically needed for 70-95% permanent hair reduction
Treatment Frequency: Depending on the area being treated, sessions are spaced anywhere from 4-8 weeks apart.
